Our first Special Cleaning apprentice completes his training

We’d like to congratulate Shkelzen Rama on successfully completing his training to become a certified building cleaner.
We’re especially delighted as Shkelzen is the first apprentice in Special Cleaning at Apleona Suisse!

The Special Cleaning department now consists of 14 employees.

Getting the green light for a new apprenticeship
Around four years ago, as part of the Special Cleaning department’s development strategy, it was decided that the company should begin offering apprenticeships in this area, too – led by Ralf Brislinger, Special Cleaning Operations Manager and Jessica Keiser, former Head of Cleaning in Mitte/Zurich. That’s when Shkelzen joined the Apleona family. He began his apprenticeship with us in 2021. Born in Kosovo, the 31-year-old has been living with his family in Aargau for eight years.

Due to his high level of education, Shkelzen managed to complete his apprenticeship in two years instead of the usual three. He spent most of his time at the Wallisellen site, though he also headed out to locations across German-speaking Switzerland for various assignments.

‘I really appreciate having had the opportunity to do my apprenticeship at Apleona. My work is fun and I’m really pleased to be able to continue developing here,’ says Shkelzen.

The story continues
Shkelzen currently works in Special Cleaning and will begin training as a property manager around mid-2024.

Ralf is also very happy with Shkelzen’s development: ‘I appreciate his reliability, dedication and honesty. With an excellent grade of 5.3 in specialist technical expertise, he can really be very proud of himself.’

Our next apprentice is already waiting in the wings: Brazil-born Manoel de Almaida, aged 27, will begin his Special Cleaning apprenticeship in mid-August 2023.
